The 2280s was, on Earth's calendar, the ninth decade of the 23rd century. Some stardate systems have delineated this era ranging approximately from stardates 8000 to 8999.[1] Another stardate system simply has this decade fall from stardates 2280 to 2289.[2] The reference stardate system assigns stardate 2/26 to the end of this decade, which begins on approximately stardate 2/21 of that system.[3]
