Montgomery Scott uses the time travel cabinet to visit southern California in order to search for Professor Andres and his missing N-cycle bomb prototype. Scott tracks down a miracle-curing doctor thinking he might be Andres, but turns out to be a snake oil merchant. (TOS comic: "A Bomb in Time")

A Soviet probe becomes the first Human-made object to orbit Luna.

Gejalik sneaks into Gary Seven's office in New York City and uses the Beta 5 computer to transport himself and a Vulcan through time to the Starfleet starship USS Enterprise. (TOS novel: From History's Shadow)

At the behest of the Three Sisters, Devna begins swaying Federation Defense Minister Min glasch Noar toward aggressive military postures to destabilize the Federation.
