83 Leonis B V (also known as Cheron) was the fifth planet orbiting 83 Leonis B in the 83 Leonis system.
In 2157, Trip Tucker orbited Cheron aboard the Kilhra'en and observed the ruins of an ancient civilization as well as a Romulan military outpost . While in orbit, Tucker was captured by Terix.
In 2160, Admiral Valdore massed his forces at Cheron in preparation for an all out attack on Earth. Tucker was able to inform T'Pol of this build up via their shared mind link and T'Pol informed Captain Archer. Archer then convinced the Earth Starfleet to mobilize forces to Cheron. These forces then engaged Valdore's in the decisive battle of the war.
After the war was ended, the entire 83 Leonis system was placed on the Coalition (later Federation) side of the neutral zone.(ENT - The Romulan War novel: To Brave the Storm)
