897-JOJ

897-JOJ was a subplanet located in the space of the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrant. It was the homeworld of the advanced but superstitious Argontron civilization.

History and specifics[]

In 2273, The USS Enterprise visited 897-JOJ. When Argontrons kidnapped Leonard McCoy with their transporter, Spock noted that the species was fearful of the dark. The Enterprise towed a meteor or asteroid into position so that it created an eclipse. James T. Kirk then retrieved McCoy using a shuttlecraft.
