The Eighth Company of the Hadarish Command was a Tarn military unit developed on Torgu-Va. This unit had discovered the Federation Battle Station Torgu-Va when they observed Commander William T. Riker and Doctor Janice Eardman beaming down and entering the tunnels. The company was considered one of the best units in the Tarn forces. (TNG novel: The Forgotten War)
