The KAC had commissioned a massive version of the Negh'Var class as flagship for Regent Worf in the 2370s decade. (DS9 episode: "Shattered Mirror")

The AKS Negh'Var was the counterpart of the IKS Negh'Var operated by the Imperial Klingon Defense Force in the primary universe since the 24th century. Due to the involvement of the Tholian Assembly in the Temporal Cold War, Tholian meddling brought mirror universe ships into Azure Nebula of the primary universe in the year 2409. The mirror Negh'Var battlecruiser was acquired by the Lobi Crystal Consortium and made available to the Klingon Empire. The Ferengi-operated Consortium acquired the Negh'Var alongside Terran Cheyenne-class heavy cruiser retrofit ISS Cheyenne-A and the Romulan Republic's Dhelan-class warbird retrofit ARW Dhelan.
