For the primary universe counterpart, see RRW Sui'Mor.
For other uses, see Tal'aura.

In the mirror universe, the ARW Tal'aura was a 29th century Romulan Alliance timeship/starship, a tier 6-rated Tal'aura-class temporal destroyer and prototype of its class, in military service in the 2410s decade. (STO website: Emergence: The Evolution of the Infinity Lock Box)

Service history and disposition[]

Namesake[]

TalAura

Senator Tal'Aura in 2379.

In the primary universe, Tal'Aura was a Romulan woman who served as senator in the Imperial Senate of the Romulan Star Empire in the 24th century. In the year 2379, she participated in the coup d'état on Romulus that enabled Shinzon to become the Praetor of the Romulan Star Empire. (TNG movie: Star Trek Nemesis)

Tal'Aura rose to become praetor of the Romulan Star Empire herself. (STO novel: The Needs of the Many)

Active service[]

The Tal'aura operated in the 29th century. It was technologically a match for the Terran Klein- and the Klingon Chargh'poH-class temporal destroyers. Its counterpart in the primary universe was the Romulan Sui'Mor-class temporal science vessel RRW Sui'Mor. (STO website: Emergence: The Evolution of the Infinity Lock Box)

Their part of the 29th century was involved in the Temporal Cold War. STO - Agents of Yesterday mission: "The Once and Future Agent")

Temporal destroyers

The Tal'aura alongside the Klein and Chargh'poH.

The Tal'aura was an evolution of the tier 5 Talvath-class temporal destroyer's design. Like the ISS Klein and the AKS Chargh'poH, the Tal'aura was equipped with an enhanced Manheim device. (STO website: Legacy of Romulus: The Romulan Temporal Ships)

During the time of the Tzenkethi Crusade in 2410, the ARW Tal'aura was among the mirror universe starships of the Terran Empire, Klingon-Cardassian Alliance and Romulus targeted by the Tholian Assembly. While the Tal'aura performed flights, sister ships were captured by the Tholians and acquired by the Lobi Crystal Consortium, who sold them to the Khitomer Alliance. (STO website: Emergence: The Evolution of the Infinity Lock Box)

From 2410 onwards, the Tal'aura its class on the shipyards interfaces operated by New Romulus Shipyards, Klingon Defense Force Order of Builders and Starfleet Shipyards Operations at Khitomer Alliance facilities across the Milky Way Galaxy. (STO - Refractions missions: "Explore the Flotilla", "The Hunt is On", "Welcome to Earth Spacedock")

Flag officers of the Alliance could deploy the Tal'aura alongside other spacecraft for assignments across the galaxy's quadrants as part of Operation: Delta Rising's four-quadrant strategy. (STO - New Dawn mission: "Admiralty System")
