"A Light in the Dark" was a mission in the Star Trek Online video game. It used to be a mission of the "Borg Advance" episode, but was removed from the game when the arc was revamped.

Description[]

Mission Text (Federation): We're not yet ready to give up on peace with the Undine yet, <rank>.; It's a long shot, but there are those in Command who want to make another attempt to communicate with the Undine – on their terms.; Celestara Mex is one of the most powerful telepaths available. Even the Betazoids acknowledge her expertise. She's agreed to go into fluidic space to attempt to transmit our offers of friendship directly to the Undine.; I want you to work with her. It [sic] things don't work as planned, she may need your help.

Mission Text (Klingon): The High Council has decided that an alliance with the Undine is preferable to a war of multiple fronts.; It is not my place to question their decision, only to implement it. Report to the Kuda system, where you will rendezvous with a telepath who will transmit our messages of ... friendship into fluidic space.; Protect her. And if it does not go well, do what you must to salvage the situation.
