Aarak was a star with an associated system located in Federation space in the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants.

History and specifics[edit | edit source]

Aarak's orbit was the location of a number of worlds, including third planet Aarak III, a major supplier of dilithium to the Federation.

The USS Enterprise burned out a dilithium crystal during an ion storm near Aarak. The starship diverted from its course to Starbase 14 in order to visit the system and procure a replacement crystal. (TOS - Year Four comic: "Issue 2")
