Abaran.
Abaran was Commodore Daniels' aide on Starbase Frontier 17.
Biography[]
Abaran met James T. Kirk and Spock upon their arrival on the starbase. He was tasked with escorting them to Daniels' office and assuring the temporary surrender of their weapons, apparently the base's official policy.
Later, he met and briefed them just outside the base's shuttlebay before they entered it to begin clearing out the Gorn inside. He was killed by the Gorn.
Family[]
Abaran was married. His wife was concerned about Daniels' behavior; he later lamented in a personal log discovered by Kirk and Spock that he should have listened to her. (TOS video game: Star Trek)
