Abdar was a lost city known to inhabitants of the Federation in the 23rd century.
Abdar had been the subject of a film which James T. Kirk had seen at some point in or prior to the 2260s decade. The film used a miniature of the city which had been provided by Nuri Jakarz through N-J Film Effects Studio.
In the year 2266, Kirk found the miniature of Abdar while searching Jakarz's home. (TOS comic: "The Trial of Captain Kirk")
