Aegris was a male humanoid of undetermined species who owned and ran a drinking establishment on the planet Icaria Prime. Security officer Christine Vale cultivated Aegris as a source of information while she, along with Captain Jean-Luc Picard and Commander Data, visited an archaeological dig on the planet. However, Aegris refused to reveal to her information about a gang of poachers who had stolen artifacts from the Federation site. (CoE eBook: Remembrance of Things Past, Book II)
