In alternate reality where the Iconians and Borg fused into one civilization, the Aetherian proton beam array was a 25th century Aetherian directed energy weapons emitter, a proton beam array type in use by the Aetherian Concordium in the 2410s decade. Aetherian proton beam arrays had the chance to seep 50% of its output past deflector shields, known as protonic disruption, and were twice as effective when used against the Voth. History and specifics

A pair of proton beams fired in 2411.

A proton beam array fired proton energy at a target, dealing an average amount of damage. This beam array had a 250° firing arc. Compared to other energy weapon types, proton space weapons had a chance of causing protonic disruption, i.e. bypass shields and cause extra damage. Aetherian proton beam arrays were the standard weapons of Concordium starship types like the Aetherian dreadnought and de-escalator. (STO - Kings & Queens mission: "Axiom")

Following an alliance between the Aetherian Concordium and the prime universe Khitomer Alliance in the year 2411, the Aetherians granted the Alliance access to the Revelation-class. The Alliance rated the mid-size vessel a tier 6 intel science vessel. At the time, the Revelation class was the only Alliance-accessible starship with proton beam arrays.
