Introduction[]
The Enterprise to the mirror universe after the disastrous Battle of Procyon V. Leeta is not happy but an opportunist's stab at mutiny inspires the power-hungry admiral to set her sights on a new target.
Summary[]
The mirror universe. On the bridge of the ISS Enterprise-F, the mood is subdued because Admiral Leeta is agitated following the defeat of the Temporal Liberation Front she supported in the Battle of Procyon V in the 26th century of the prime universe. Communications officer Lieutenant Aluura breaks the silence with a reproachful message from the Emperor of the Terran Empire himself. Leeta is to surrender the Enterprise and her fleet to Captain Tiaru Jarok of the IRW Lleiset.
Suddenly, a trio of Mobius-class temporal destroyers appear - Leeta's own allies from the 29th century. Captain Nereda of the ISS Pastak mutinies against Leeta to gain favor with the emperor. But Leeta is prepared - she executes a code that destroys the Pastak, and orders the remaining ISS Poh and ISS Tempus to swear fealtys. After 13.2 seconds, they comply. Leeta has Lieutenant Aluura send the message to Lieutenant Whetu of the Mobius Shipyards to enjoy her time on Risa and her promotion.
With the fleet under her undivided control, Leeta resolves to set course to Terra and teach the emperor who takes orders from whom.
