Ahn Chung-hee was a Human male, who served in the Federation Starfleet as an officer in the 22nd century.
History[]
By 2165, he held the rank of lieutenant and served as the armory officer of the USS Essex under Captain Bryce Shumar.
In April, 2165, the Essex made official first contact with the Deltans, and Ahn joined the away team that visited the Deltan capital city on Delta IV. During their stay, the team fell victim of the Deltans exceptionally powerful pheromones and empathic abilities during a sexual encounter. Ahn became catatonic as the result, and was shipped home to Vega colony with little hope that he will ever recover. His fate deeply shocked the Deltan people, and eventually led to their oath of celibacy. (ENT - Rise of the Federation novel: Uncertain Logic)
