This character is a member of the Dukat family native to the mirror universe.
For the primary universe counterpart, see Akellen Macet.

In the mirror universe, Akellen Macet was a Cardassian male who held the rank of gul in the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance during the 2370s. He was the commanding officer of the Alliance Galor-class warship Trager which by 2376, was part of Intendant Kira Nerys' fleet. He was a cousin of Supreme Legate Skrain Dukat, to whom he bore a striking resemblance, on his mother's side.

In January 2377, along with Captain Klag, son of M'Raq of the IKS Gorkon, Macet was summoned to meet with the Intendant aboard her flagship, the IKS Negh'Var to discuss strategy for destroying the Terran Rebellion. Shortly after, Macet was ordered to take the fleet to Regulon to regroup with the Klingon 9th Fleet to attack Sindorin and to prepare for an assault upon Terok Nor. Intendant Kira had to deal with a secret matter (picking up Taran'atar) before rejoining the fleet.

After Iliana Ghemor had Taran'atar kill Intendant Kira, Ghemor took her place and planned to have Kurn replace Macet as the fleet commander. (DS9 novel: Warpath)
