Gul Akkat was a Cardassian man and a member of the Cardassian military. In the 2340s, he was assigned to Bajor as part of the occupation forces.
In 2343, Gul Akkat attended a meeting with Legate Migar. Winn Adami, then a servant to Gul Ragat, angered Akkat with a comment about the Prophets and Akkat struck her on the face with his hand. Gul Ragat intervened and Dukat, also present, admonished Akkat for losing his temper. (DS9 novel: The Conquered)
