Al'yans was a star system, located in the Kotaba sector of the Vyntadi sector block within the galaxy's Delta Quadrant. In the 25th century, it was the site of a summit that inducted new members into the Delta Alliance.

History and specifics[]

Al'yans I

Planet Al'yans I.

Al'yans was a single-star system. Alongside the Shenda and Nanipia systems, it was situated along the rimward border of the the Void region of space. Other notable systems in the neighborhood included the Trakia and New Talax systems.

In the 2410s decade, the system was in the vicinity of the Hirogen's ancient communication network. the Alliance dispatched science teams to study spatial anomalies in the region surrounding Al'yans. The Hirogen refused to allow teams aboard their communication arrays. Delta Joint Command considered sending USS Voyager there for a closer study of the phenomenon.

In the year 2410, Captain Harry Kim of the USS Rhode Island and Rear Admiral, lower half Tuvok of Voyager met with other ships in the asteroid belt near Al'yans II for a summit to induct new members into the Delta Alliance, a pact woven to combat the Vaadwaur Supremacy. Other representatives that came along were the RRW Lleiset of the Romulan Republic, the IKS Bortasqu' of the Klingon Empire, a Kobali battleship, the Benthan Protectorate, and Ambassador Neelix of New Talax.

Ships were sent out to meet with the Hazari, Kazon, the Hierarchy and the Turei, and met again in the system for Tuvok's summit. (STO - Delta Quadrant mission: "Alliances")
