Alam'ak, along with companion stars named Behr'ak and Czar'ak, is part of the Gamma Andromedae trinary star system, located several parsecs from Earth and the Sol system, in the galaxy's Alpha Quadrant, near the border between the Alpha and Beta Quadrants.
