Aldous was a planet located somewhere in the space of the galaxy's Beta Quadrant, in orbit of the Calder star system near the Romulan Neutral Zone bordering the Federation and Romulan Star Empire.
By the 23rd century in the Kelvin timeline, Calder system was considered to be in Romulan space. (ST video game: Fleet Command)
