In the mirror universe, Alex Danaher was a Terran male who ruled as the Emperor of the Terran Empire during the 23rd century.
Biography[]
Imperial Regime[]
In 2277, Alex Danaher was selected as Emperor by the Imperial Senate following the assassination of his predecessor, Kodos. Described as a "pliable non-entity", Danaher was perfectly willing to resume Spock's reforms, which had been opposed by Kodos and the conservative faction of the Senate. However, two problems prevented the reforms from being implemented. First, the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance stepped up its incursions into Imperial territory, requiring Spock to spend more money on Starfleet in order to repel the Klingons and Cardassians, and second, T'Pau called in the favor Spock owed her, expecting him to do her bidding after having saved him from execution.
In 2281, T'Pau learned of Spock's treachery and sent assassins to kill him, Danaher and Yevok. Although Danaher and Yevok were killed, Spock survived. Following his death, Danaher was succeeded as Emperor by John Cray. (Decipher RPG module: Through a Glass, Darkly)
