Alexander Siddig is an actor who portayed the character of Julian Bashir on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine during its entire run. For the first three seasons credited as Siddig El Fadil, a shortened version of his birth name. Under this name, he also directed the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episodes Business as Usual and Profit and Lace. In the non-canon area, Siddig provided the voice for Bashir in the spin-off game The Fallen.
