In 2374, Lieutenant Dr. Julian Bashir and Senior Chief Petty Officer Miles O'Brien quoted the third stanza of Tennyson's poem "The Charge of the Light Brigade" before a Starfleet battle group engaged Dominion and Cardassian forces during Operation Return.
