Algol I was an inhabited planet located somewhere in the space of the galaxy's Alpha Quadrant, the first planet in orbit of the Algol star system.

History and specifics[]

Algol was inhabited by a warp-capable civilization who had established first contact with the United Federation of Planets by the year 2259. (SNW episode: "Strange New Worlds")
