Biography[]
K'Bentayr was assigned to the Kelvin as a security officer under Captain Richard Robau. In 2230, K'Bentayr went with Capt. Robau and Lt. Cmdr. George Samuel Kirk, Sr. to make first contact with the Roylans of Royla. When Kirk and K'Bentayr tried to find the problem with their shuttle, they received helped from one of the natives, Keenser, who impressed both K'Bentayr and Kirk by pinpointing the problem and the solution to fixing their shuttle. Alternate reality[]
K'Bentayr was on the Kelvin's bridge when they investigated an anomaly that resembled a lightning storm in space. After the Narada stopped its attack, K'Bentayr stood by as Capt. Robau agreed to meet with its commander. After Robau was killed, K'Bentayr and the crew evacuated the Kelvin as Commander Kirk rammed the Kelvin into the Narada, disabling it. (TOS movie: Star Trek)
