Alpha Carinae was a planet located in or near the former space of the Thallonian Empire, in sector 221-G of the galaxy's Beta Quadrant, in orbit of the Alpha Carinae star system.
History and specifics[]
Alpha Carinae was the homeworld of the Alphan civilization. In the 24th century, the Redeemers installed a High Priest of Alpha Carinae to convert the Alphans to the ways of the religion of Xant. Eventually, the Alphans rebelled, killing the High Priest and releasing the Redeemer virus onto themselves. The planet was rendered lifeless within two days of this act in the year 2374.
