The Alraki were a spacefaring species from the planet Alrakis. In the 24th century, much of the Alraki population was controlled by warlords.

In 2363, Admiral J.P. Hanson was to assign Jean-Luc Picard to negotiate with Alraki warlords, although Picard persuaded him not to. (TNG novel: The Buried Age)

In 2373, Quark was to be sold industrial disrupters by the Alraki and was also hoping to obtain an arcybite contract from them. The Alraki were also on Quark's list of possible clients for Reletek transphasic sensor arrays. (DS9 short story: "... Loved I Not Honor More")
