The Altairian Conference (also known as the Altarian Conference) was a conference named for the Altair star system and held in the 24th century.

It was at the Altairian conference at which Starfleet captains Jean-Luc Picard and Rixx met each other for the first time, at some point prior to the end of the year 2364. The fact of their having met there was recalled by Picard when he was introduced to Rixx on Dytallix B. The repeated introduction served as a test of sorts of Picard's memory, as the Dytallix B meeting was held regarding an infiltration of bluegill neural parasites that would have lacked the recollection.
