The Amarcan-class was a type of starship used by the Romulan Star Empire's Star Navy in the 24th century. The Amarcan-class was a warbird design introduced in 2344, named after the widely-respected Commander Amarcan. They used a double-hull configuration similar to that of the later D'deridex-class, were about 20% larger than previous warbird classes, had more graceful lines than the K't'inga-class ships still being purchased from the Klingons, and were estimated to have about three times the fighting strength of a Federation Constellation-class cruiser.
