Amarik was a Romulan and the husband of Kerit.
In 2374, he led Ruanek to the Romulan underground's headquarters. Later he would record and broadcast Ambassador Spock's conversation with Archpriest N'Gathan in which N'Gathan admitted to assassinating Emperor Shiarkiek. Amarik then informed Spock of Senator Vreenak's death. (ST - Tales of the Dominion War short story: "Blood Sacrifice")
