Amelinda Lukarian was a human entertainer and manager of the Warp-Speed Classic Vaudeville Company following her father's death.

Amelinda was born in 2244, and was immediately brought into her father's world of entertainment and vaudeville. As she grew up, she played increasingly larger roles in her father's company. In 2262, Amelinda's father abandoned her and left her as manager of the company. Determined not to let the company die, she immediately set out promoting it across the Federation, and she designed all of the advertisement campaigns to promote the company.

Her promotion and advertisement proved successful when, in 2264, Admiral Kimitake Noguchi hired the Warp Speed Classic Vaudeville Company to tour the Federation Phalanx and entertain the officers to boost morale. The USS Enterprise, under command of the recently promoted Captain James T. Kirk, was assigned to transport the company to Starbase 13.

There was initial animosity between Kirk and Lukarian, as Kirk objected to a starship being used to transport a group of entertainers around, when the Enterprise could be contacting new life-forms and charting new frontiers. Lukarian put Kirk's concerns to rest when she agreed to perform for the crew, and a friendship blossomed between the two. (TOS novel: Enterprise: The First Adventure)
