Amina Ramsey was a 24th century Human woman who served in Starfleet as the CO of the starship USS Oakland in the 2380s decade.
Biography[]
At Starfleet Academy, she was best friends with Cadet Beckett Mariner.
In the year 2380, Ramsey assumed temporary command of the USS Cerritos while Captain Carol Freeman was sent on an off-ship mission. Assigning Mariner as her XO, Ramsey visited Khwopa and aided the USS Rubidoux before it could be destroyed by an alien entity. (LD episode: "Much Ado About Boimler")
In 2381, Ramsey responded to a distress call from Mariner to rescue the Cerritos, which was under attack by Texas-class vessels. (LD episode: "The Stars at Night")
Later that year, Ramsey visited the Cerritos to investigate why the ship's personnel were getting trapped on the holodeck, and ended up becoming trapped there herself by the malevolent artificial intelligence Badgey. During the lower deckers' effort to earn enough merit points for Badgey to release them, she reviewed the various simulations and hoped to be in the Section 31 simulation. Mariner asked her to oversee the beachside Kaminar simulation alongside Jet Manhaver. (LD video game: The Badgey Directive episode "Live Fast and Shempo")
In one of Badgey's drills, Ramsey and Manhaver listened to a ship-wide bulletin from Brad Boimler to keep life support online while Sam Rutherford devised a way of getting the holo-Cerritos out of range of an energy-draining weapon. (LD video game: The Badgey Directive episode "Ruthie Trap")
