Amitra was a Pandrilite politician of the mid-24nd century. After serving as a cabinet member for the three previous presidents, including President T'Pragh, she was elected President of the Federation herself in 2364.
She moved the Office of the President to the smaller Ra-ghoratreii Room. She only wished to run for one term, and did not run again in 2368. (novel: Star Trek: Articles of the Federation)
