Amon-4 was a M class planet that orbited Amon. It was presumably located in either the Alpha or the Beta Quadrant.

Environment[]

The planet's atmosphere was sixty-five percent nitrogen, thirty percent oxygen, trace amounts of other gases—not too different from the air aboard the Enterprise.

History[]

Ten thousand years ago, the planet was possibly part of a theater in the intercine war of the Tseetsk.

In the 2360s, this planet was the first to be explored in the sector by the USS Enterprise-D. Commander William T. Riker led an away team in atmosphere suits.

Against protocol Yeoman Janet Kinsolving fell victim to the dormant subvirus after she had removed her helmet.

Flora and fauna[]

Amon-4 had not dangerous fauna, with the most advanced life-form being a single cell creature. Amon-4 was rich in native flora, mostly composed of purple vegetation and orange blossoms. (TNG novel: Chains of Command
