Ana Benyt was the chief medical officer of the Mertens Orbital Research Station when a Chodak probe attacked the station. After the first volley, she was headed for sickbay when something struck the hull and a communications cable was torn loose. She was injured with multiple fractures and probable lacerations when it fell on her.

She was later rescued by an an away team from the USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-D) who beamed the heavy cable over her to another location. She was treated by Dr. Beverly Crusher to whom she narrated the attack. The team asked her help to maintain the life support systems and she redirected them to the Station Administration, with the security code for the emergency systems. (TNG video game: A Final Unity)
