Ensign Aneta Šmrhová was a female Human Starfleet tactical officer who spoke with a Slavic accent.

By 2381, Šmrhová served aboard the USS Enterprise-E as a relief bridge officer. She was in the command center when the Enterprise traversed a subspace tunnel with the USS Aventine to end up near the Carina Arm, and detected energy signatures matching Hirogen vessels on long-range sensors. The two Starfleet vessels were unable to escape before the Hirogen attacked. During the assault, the console Šmrhová was working at began to overload and she was pushed out of the way by T'Ryssa Chen before it exploded. When the Hirogen hunters boarded the ship, Šmrhová and second officer Miranda Kadohata escorted the junior officers off to the observation lounge and appropriated TR-116 rifles from junior security officers; the Hirogen still assaulted the bridge, and the two again tried to aid the escape of Captain Jean-Luc Picard, an action that was unnecessary after Worf and Jasminder Choudhury defeated the boarders.
