Biography[]
Lanter was aboard the Federation starship USS Enterprise in the year 2270, working closely with Spock on a Starfleet research expedition. She was a new addition to the crew and quickly became a significant figure, especially due to her frequent interactions with Spock, which sparked some jealousy from Dr. Leonard McCoy. Anitra's expertise and dedication were put to the test when an ancient evil, linked to possession and madness, began to infiltrate the Enterprise and Vulcan. Despite her best efforts, Anitra eventually fell victim to the malevolent force, adding to the urgency and complexity of the mission to save the galaxy. (TOS novel: Demons)
