Ansa-sen-tar was a noble clan of Vulcans who consisted of members of the house of Sidak.

History and specifics[]

The house of Sidak was as ancient as the house of Surak.

Of this clan, T’Pris’s family had an honorable heritage which extended back to the days before the Reformation when they were military leaders. When Vulcan philosophy turned from the ways of war to the ways of logic and peace, the Ansa-sen-tar became advocates and counselors and maintained their honourable reputation into the 23rd century.

In the year 2253, Spock of Talek sen-deen addressed T'Pris as a member of this clan. (TOS novel: Vulcan's Glory)
