Antares Ship Yards

The Antares shipyards was a Federation construction facility in the 23rd and 24th centuries, located in the Bajor sector of the galaxy's Alpha Quadrant.

Although this facility shares a name with the star system at Antares, it is located at quite a distance from the Antares sector. That sector is the home of the Beta Antares shipyards, however.

History and specifics[]

Among the starships constructed at the Antares shipyards were the USS Enterprise-B, USS Defiant, USS Mercutio^{[citation needed]} and USS Valiant. (TNG reference: Star Trek: The Next Generation Technical Manual; DS9 reference: Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Technical Manual)
