Anthony Haftel was a Starfleet officer and cybernetics specialist in the 24th century.
As of 2366, Vice Admiral Haftel was assigned to Starfleet Research at Galor IV. That year, he ordered Lieutenant Commander Data to give him custody of his android daughter, Lal. He later assisted Data when Lal suffered a neural system failure.
He was the father of at least one child. (TNG episode: "The Offspring")
