For other uses, see Antonia.

Antonia Truscott was a character in Dixon Hill stories, a 20th century Human woman. She starred in the 2360s holonovel The Rich and the Dead.

Fictional biography[]

After her half-brother Daniel and his wife Cybeline were killed under mysterious circumstances in 1942, Antonia went to the police, then to private investigator Dixon Hill to track down their killer. She said it was probably her other half-brother, Eldon. Eldon was due to inherit the bulk of Daniel's estate, but if he was convicted, Antonia would get it instead. She told Dix the police seemed uninterested in her theory. (TNG comic: "The Rich and the Dead!")

Eldon was expecting Dix, saying he was exactly the sort of person Antonia would hire. He thought Daniel's business partner Leonard Cantrell killed them. Cantrell said he thought Antonia did it to repay gambling debts to the mob. (TNG comic: "Reductions & Deductions")

While snooping that night at Cantrell's house, Dix was caught by Cantrell and Antonia, who were in love. Cantrell confessed they had schemed together to kill Daniel. She really had amassed a fortune in gambling debts. During a struggle, Antonia was accidentally struck by a bullet from Cantrell's gun and died in his arms. (TNG comic: "Hidden Agendas!")

History[]

In 2369, Jean-Luc Picard and Beverly Crusher interacted with a hologram of Antonia on the holodeck of the USS Enterprise-D. (TNG comics: "The Rich and the Dead!", "Hidden Agendas!")
