Aoki Farrenga was a female human, the daughter of Vicenzo Farrenga and Miranda Kadohata, born in late March, 2375. In early 2380, she became elder sister to twin siblings, Colin Farrenga and Sylvana Farrenga. (TNG novel: Q & A)

Biography[]

During the Borg Invasion of 2381, Miranda was able to covertly warn her husband to leave Cestus III with the children. (ST - Destiny novel: Mere Mortals)

They fled the planet, Aoki having packed pajamas and stuffed animals into her flowered bags. The family got as far as Pacifica before the Borg threat ended, after which they returned to Cestus III. As soon as they arrived back at their home in Lakeside, Aoki was the first to leap from the pod and sprint to her mother at the door. (ST - Destiny novel: Lost Souls)

During Kadohata's leave, the family spent a day at April Beach, an outing which Aoki declared to be "the best day ever". The following day, as Kadohata prepared to return to duty, Aoki expressed disappointment that her mother might miss her sixth birthday. Later, she was excited to learn that her mother had accepted a long-term assignment working with the refugees on planet Pacifica, which would allow for more regular visits home, including one for her birthday party. (TNG novel: Losing the Peace)
