The Arc Launcher was an Attrexian hand-held weapon, and features two distinct fire modes. Activating the secondary fire mode will release a gas cloud into the surrounding area, which can be ignited by the energy bolt of the primary fire for devastating area effect damage. It was a primary firearm of many space fairing Attrexians, and was utilized by the USS Enterprise-E's Hazard Team when an Attrexian Space Station was being overrun by Idryllian Exomorphs.
