Aretha iXJohns was a 23rd century Alpha Centauran woman. She was a career Starfleet Intelligence officer.
Biography[]
Her highest skills were in administration, leadership, navigation, personal combat, and security procedures. She was charismatic, intelligent and had a high level of endurance. She became fluent in the language of the Zeons, but only learned rudimentary Klingonaase.
At Starfleet Academy, IXJohns trained in the field operations branch, serving her second cadet cruise in Starfleet Intelligence sector 1. She later returned to the Academy for a year, teaching a course in administration and leadership.
Following graduation, she became a field operative for five years in the Starfleet Intelligence Triangle sector and for two years in the Gorn sector before being promoted to supervisory positions in Starfleet Marine Corps Command and Administration.
In 2283, she became one of three case contact officers for undercover operatives in the Starfleet Intelligence Klingon Activities Unit. Assigned to Starbase 22, she worked with C.S. Mooningham, head of a front operation at the starbase. She reported to the head of deep-cover operations, Ann Bottoms, and ultimately to sector chief Commodore Chuck Winslow at Starbase 23.
