Argive is apparently a locale on planet Xenex, noted for its influential journalists. The leaders of Clan G'lyndr gave statements to "Argive newsies" in an effort to accuse Clan Calhoun of inciting a feud and promote themselves as the leaders of Xenex's Council of Clans.
