For other uses, see Argus.

Argus VI was a planet, the sixth planet of the Argus system, located in the galaxy's Alpha Quadrant. It was the homeworld of an extinct native civilization.

History and specifics[]

In 2271, Leonard McCoy said that genetic engineering, of the sort that created females from a group of male clones, caused the destruction of the civilization on Argus VI. He compared the circumstances to those on Alpha Tau IV after learning that Kloor had done the exact same thing there with a Human clone society. (TOS - Leonard McCoy, Frontier Doctor comic: "Medics")
