Aridia III was a planet, the third planet of the Aridia system, located in the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants.
Aridia III was a desert planet, with surface temperatures greater than 389° Celsius. It was home to the Aridian sandworm.
In the 2260s decade, the environment of Aridia III was recreated on the Federation wildlife preserve planet Salvum for a habitat of sandworms. (TOS comic: "Sport of Knaves")
