Arin was a male Kornak doctor, and a major in the Kornak Armed Forces. He was close friends with fellow doctor Idit Kahayn and her romantic partner, Janel. Arin was a man of strong morals, who opposed the research Kahayn was conducting doing into artificial neural regeneration.
In 2376, while Doctor Julian Bashir was being held at the Rangdron Medical Complex, Arin leaked word to the Jabari rebel forces, and let them know that General Nerrit would be visiting to investigate. This led to a Jabari attack on the facility, and in the chaos that followed, Arin was arrested, and ultimately subjected to medical experimentation. (SCE eBooks: Wounds, Book 1, Wounds, Book 2)
