The Ark Royal-class was a class of Federation Starfleet carrier starships in the 23rd and 24th centuries.
History and specifications
The Ark Royal-class entered Starfleet service with the launch of the class prototype USS Ark Royal in the year 2286. Production continued until 2313, with the launch of USS Sao Paulo. Ships of this class were 566.49 meters long, 309.98 meters wide and 110.23 meters tall. They had a total crew complement of 3,200 people, of which 720 comprised the actual crew and 2,480 formed the air crew. (TOS video game: Starfleet Command II: Empires at War)
