The Arno is a river on Earth, in the northern part of the nation state of Italy. The river is 241 kilometers long, and flows through the city of Florence.
In a holographic recreation of Renaissance Florence, Kathryn Janeway and a holographic Leonardo Da Vinci attempted to test Da Vinci's glider over the river Arno. Attempting to take off from a bridge, they promptly landed in the river. (VOY episode: "Concerning Flight")
